My name is Bill Ewing and it is my honor this year to serve as the Behavior Intervention Specialist. I graduated in 2001 from Lock Haven University with a BS in Education majoring in English and Spanish. I am certified by the PA Department of Education to teach English grades 7-12 and Spanish K-12 as well as ESL. I earned a Master of Divinity degree from Liberty University and I am an ordained minister. I have 7 years teaching experience at the secondary level, 3 years of elementary, and 5 years of experience in Correctional Education, and 1 year of teaching ESL. I have an introductory knowledge of French, Greek, and Hebrew as well. My family is full of educators with two retired teachers, two retired superintendents, 1 current high school English teacher, 1 correctional educator, and my wife Sarah teaches Learning Support at West Branch Elementary. I have three children of my own, Olivia; Braden; and Rachel so I understand how important it is for children to receive a quality education. In order to take advantage of a quality education I believe one needs a great work ethic, discipline, grit, an open mind, and higher order thinking skills. It is my hope that every student at YSCP develops these same skills and approaches in pursuing their education as well.
